A shopping trip to the Steel district begins, and while Falrak attempts to complete the fire-shaping gauntlets the Sky Brigade wanders off in search of a floppy gnome.

After a refreshing interlude in the sunlight, the party goes in search of Desmond. Soon, they find their way through the closely guarded districts of the innermost Mountainhome sanctums to the grand archives of the dwarves, to Tarajux’s unexpected delight.
Within the archives, they begin to learn more of the Hatchling’s strange history, and the tales of those who came after the eldritch beast from below.
